The American president announced that his country has signed a trade agreement with China..

US President Donald Trump announced on Thursday that his country had signed a trade agreement with China. Speaking at the White House, Trump stated, "Everyone wants to make trade deals with us," adding that the U.S. had signed a trade-related agreement with China without providing further details.

In this regard, he mentioned, "We have signed a trade agreement with China and expect to sign another one with India soon."

Earlier this month, on the 11th, President Trump had announced that Washington and Beijing had agreed to ease export restrictions between them, in line with the previous deal reached in Geneva last May. Under this agreement, the U.S. will allow Chinese students to enroll in American universities.

In a post on his Truth Social platform, Trump noted that the deal includes "the complete magnet and any necessary rare earth metals, which will be supplied in advance by China." He added that the U.S. would receive total tariffs of 55 percent, while China would get 10 percent.
