Egypt Condemns Settler Attacks in West Bank..

Egypt has condemned in the strongest terms the repeated attacks by settlers against innocent Palestinian civilians in multiple towns and villages across the occupied West Bank, the latest of which resulted in Palestinian casualties in the village of Kafr Malik.

In an official statement released Saturday by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Immigration, Egypt declared these systematic assaults against the Palestinian people constitute a flagrant violation of international law and the Fourth Geneva Convention, undermining all efforts to achieve security, peace, and stability.

The statement emphasized the urgent need for international action to halt these grave violations, calling on the global community to assume responsibility in confronting the ongoing injustice suffered by Palestinians under occupation. Egypt urged the activation of accountability mechanisms and concrete measures to protect Palestinians from settler violence.

Egypt reaffirmed its unwavering position that all settlements in occupied Arab territories are illegal and represent a major obstacle to achieving a just resolution of the Palestinian cause. The statement reiterated Egypt's full support for the Palestinian people's legitimate aspirations to establish their independent state along the June 4, 1967 borders with East Jerusalem as its capital.
