The Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) announced today, Monday, the new prices for Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG), including propane and butane, for July 2024.

In a statement to the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA), KPC said the price per metric ton of propane will be $575, while butane will be priced at $545 per metric ton.

LPG products (propane and butane) are primarily used in petrochemical manufacturing, as well as for other applications such as cooking fuel, heating, and various industrial uses.

LPG prices are closely tied to global oil market fluctuations, as crude oil prices serve as a key benchmark. Additional factors influencing pricing include supply and demand dynamics and other market variables.
