Germany's Borussia Dortmund secured their place in the FIFA Club World Cup quarterfinals on Wednesday after defeating Mexico's CF Monterrey 2-1 in their Round of 16 match.
Dortmund's striker Ciro Immobile led his team to victory with goals in the 14th and 24th minutes, while Monterrey's sole goal came from Germán Berterame in the 48th minute.
The German club will now face Spain's Real Madrid in the quarterfinals this coming Saturday.
