First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Fahad Yusuf Saud Al-Sabah praised the outstanding national role played by the National Guard in supporting the Ministry of Interior's efforts and assisting in various tasks.

During an inspection tour of the Ministry of Interior forces and the National Guard's "Salem Duty Force" on Thursday, Sheikh Fahad Al-Yousef emphasized to National Guard personnel that the institution serves as the true backbone and right hand of Kuwait’s security apparatus, particularly in securing mourning gatherings during the month of Muharram.

He added that since assuming his duties as Minister of Interior, he has not hesitated to coordinate with the National Guard for any required support, stressing that National Guard leaders and personnel always answer the call of duty and carry out their responsibilities with dedication and professionalism.

Sheikh Fahad stated that "words of thanks are not enough to honor the National Guard’s contributions," noting that the sincere efforts of its members in serving Kuwait reflect the collaboration and shared responsibility that binds everyone—"from the Minister of Interior down to the youngest security personnel."
