Hundreds of extremist settlers stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque..

The Islamic Waqf Department in Jerusalem announced that hundreds of extremist settlers stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque on Sunday.

In a statement, the department reported that 1,251 extremist settlers forcibly entered Al-Aqsa Mosque during the morning hours, performing Talmudic rituals, dancing, and shouting in various sections of the compound. It noted that among the intruders was Itamar Ben-Gvir, the so-called "National Security Minister" of the occupation government.

Ben-Gvir had led a provocative march of settlers through the Old City on Saturday, paving the way for today’s incursions, which coincide with what they falsely claim as the "Temple Destruction" anniversary.

Meanwhile, the Jerusalem Governorate warned in a statement of a dangerous escalation plan promoted by extremist "Temple" groups to storm Al-Aqsa Mosque today. It stressed that "these calls are not merely isolated religious acts but part of a calculated colonial-settlement project aimed at undermining the legal and historical status of Al-Aqsa Mosque and forcibly imposing occupation sovereignty over it."

The Governorate added that these extremist "Temple" groups insist annually on carrying out their incursions into the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, in direct defiance of its sanctity.
