Kuwait’s Ministry of Social Affairs announced that the urgent relief campaign to support the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, launched yesterday (Sunday) in cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and with the participation of the Kuwait Red Crescent Society and other Kuwaiti charitable organizations, has collected over 2.3 million Kuwaiti dinars (approx. $6.6 million USD) by midnight.
In a press statement issued today (Monday), the Ministry reported that the electronic donation portal had recorded 2,030,772 Kuwaiti dinars (approx. $6.64 million USD) by midnight.
The campaign, which aligns with Kuwait’s humanitarian role in supporting global humanitarian causes and aiding the Palestinian people in Gaza, aims to provide essential food supplies to affected families in the Strip.
The Ministry clarified that tomorrow (Tuesday) is the final day to donate via the designated link: https://gaza.myfatoorah.com/khaironline.
Additionally, the campaign accepts in-kind food donations in accordance with approved regulations. All food items must be exclusively purchased from the Kuwait Flour Mills and Bakeries Company, as per Cabinet Resolution No. (1461). The Kuwait Red Crescent Society will coordinate the delivery of aid to the relevant relief agencies in Egypt, Jordan, and Palestine.
