Tunisia strongly condemned today, Thursday, the statements made by the Israeli occupation Prime Minister regarding what he termed the "Greater Israel vision," denouncing these remarks as a further escalation of his provocative policies toward Arab states and a violation of their sovereignty.
In a statement, the Tunisian Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that "these declarations represent yet another blatant and egregious violation of international law and the principles of international legitimacy, amid global inaction in curbing this Zionist recklessness and the entity’s behavior as an aggressive force that operates above the law and beyond accountability." The ministry called for urgent international action to counter these aggressive policies.
It further emphasized that "these statements reflect nothing but the racist, colonial, and expansionist mentality of a rogue entity complicit in genocide, war crimes, and ethnic cleansing against the steadfast Palestinian people. This is yet another attempt to liquidate the Palestinian cause and destabilize the security and stability of the region."
Tunisia also expressed its full solidarity with the targeted Arab states and urged the international community and the UN Security Council to assume their responsibilities and take immediate, swift action to confront these policies, which pose a direct threat to Arab national security as well as international peace and security.
