Samsung launched the Galaxy S25 Ultra at the beginning of 2025, quickly joining the Android Ultra range of phones with powerful specs and similar names.

This group includes the Vivo X200 Ultra, Oppo Find X8 Ultra, and Xiaomi 15 Ultra, with the latter leading sales among these three phones until the end of June 2025. The Xiaomi 15 Ultra sold about 586,000 units, while Vivo sold only 219,000 units and Oppo only sold 210,000 units.

In contrast, Samsung shipped at least 8.39 million units of its Galaxy S25 Ultra during the first half of this year, a huge number that far exceeds its competitors. It even surpassed its predecessor the Galaxy S24 Ultra, which recorded sales of 7.65 million units in the same period of 2024.
