Kuwait Oil Tanker Company (KOTC) announced on Tuesday that it has achieved outstanding performance according to the latest performance list of (Oil Tanker Flag States) issued by the Tokyo Memorandum of Understanding (2022/2024), stressing that this achievement adds to its record of accomplishments that reflect the honorable image of the State of Kuwait in international maritime forums.The Kuwait Oil Tankers Company (KOTC) said in a statement to the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) that after conducting 30 inspections of ships registered under the flag of the State of Kuwait, no detentions were recorded on any of the ships during the examinations, which resulted in the State of Kuwait being classified as a country with a high performance rating on the list of flag state performance.She attributed this outstanding achievement largely to the operational excellence of the oil tankers, which represent the vast majority of vessels registered under the flag state of Kuwait. She expressed her pride in this accomplishment, which reflects the Kuwait Oil Tanker Company's commitment to the highest standards of quality, maintenance, operation, and compliance.She stated that she had received congratulations and praise from the General Directorate of Coast Guard (Audit and Quality Department and Maritime Transport Department) for her outstanding performance, noting that the basis of this success was the great and continuous efforts made by all employees of the company.
