A poll reveals that 68% of Americans oppose Russia seizing territory from Ukraine..

A poll published on Wednesday revealed that 68% of Americans oppose Russia seizing territory from Ukraine at the end of the war between them. This comes as U.S. President Donald Trump suggested that a land swap should be part of a peace agreement between the two countries.

According to the poll conducted by YouGov in collaboration with The Economist from the 15th to the 18th of this month, which included 1,568 participants, 68% responded that Russia should take "none" of Ukraine's territory when asked about the amount of land Russia might seize at the end of the war.

The poll also showed that 21% of the participants were unsure about how much territory Russia should obtain, while 5% said they believed Russia should take "some" of Ukraine's land.

Additionally, 2% of those surveyed thought Russia should take half of Ukraine's territory, and only 1% of the participants agreed that Russia should annex all of Ukraine.

U.S. President Donald Trump had previously urged his Ukrainian counterpart, Volodymyr Zelensky, in televised remarks the day before yesterday, to "show some flexibility" during the meeting being arranged with Russian President Vladimir Putin to end the military conflict between their two countries.
