The U.S. Mint has decided to honor the memory of the late co-founder and CEO of Apple, Steve Jobs, by designing a commemorative one-dollar coin within the Innovation Dollar series.

The move is part of an annual tradition by Dar Al Suk to honor U.S. innovation icons and the efforts of individuals or groups that have contributed to the development of American society. One of the 2026 editions will feature an image of Steve Jobs, in a gesture of appreciation for his profound contributions to the world of technology.
