Sony has officially started rolling out the Android 16 update for its previous flagship phone, the Xperia 1 VI, and users are finally getting the stable version after a long wait. The update is currently reaching users in European markets, including the UK, with build number 69.2.A.2.30 and a size of approximately 850 MB.

This update is the second major update to the phone after it got Android 15 last year, and the Xperia 1 VI is set to receive another update later as promised by Sony at launch.
