The Ministry of Education has brought forward the end dates of the academic year for students and administrative and teaching staff in kindergarten, elementary, and middle schools. Students will finish school on May 21, while the end of the school year for kindergarten administrative and teaching staff will be on June 8, and for elementary and middle school administrative and teaching staff on June 14.

Meanwhile, the exam dates for high school students remain unchanged, and the end of the school year for administrative and teaching staff has been moved forward by four days, from June 9 to July 5.

Minister of Education Jalal Al-Tabtabai has officially approved the dates for completing the second semester of the academic calendar for public schools, private Arabic schools, religious schools, and special education schools. This is part of the preparations for completing the 2025-2026 academic year and organizing the schedules for classes and exams. The decision includes the end-of-day dates for students, teachers, and administrative staff at all grade levels, as well as the secondary school exam schedules.

In a statement, the Ministry announced that Thursday, the 21st of this month, will be the last day of classes for kindergarten children, while the administrative and teaching staff will finish work on June 8th.

For primary school students, the decision sets the 21st of this month as the end of the second semester, while the administrative and teaching staff will finish work on June 14th.

The decision also stipulates that the 21st of this month will be the last day of classes for intermediate school students, while the administrative and teaching staff will finish work on June 14th, with the exception of those assigned to the secondary school exams.
