Electricity topped the list of the most significant obstacles facing the business environment in Egypt, according to a World Bank survey. The survey, which included more than 1,000 businesses operating in Egypt, also found that major obstacles included corruption, informal sector practices, political instability, access to finance, an under-educated workforce, and crime, theft, and disorder.
