The chip and RAM crisis seems far from over. Apple hadn't raised any prices since the beginning of the crisis, but CEO Tim Cook recently stated that the increases had become too large for Apple to bear and would have to pass them on to users.
Now, Cook's prediction is coming true, with all Apple products seeing price hikes of up to $200, except for the iPhone. It appears the iPhone price increase will coincide with the launch of the iPhone 18 Pro this September. Here are the details of the price increases across all Apple devices:
MacBook
prices have increased by approximately 15-20%, with the MacBook Pro seeing the largest increase of $300!
Other models:
MacBook Neo from $599 to $699, after the 256GB option was previously removed for the same reason.
MacBook Air from $1099 to $1299.
MacBook Pro with M5 chip from $1699 to $1999.
