The Ministry of Interior, represented by the General Department of Emergency Police in the Traffic and Operations Affairs Sector, carried out a comprehensive and intensive security campaign in the Farwaniya and Khaitan areas as part of efforts to apprehend wanted persons and violators and enhance security and safety. The campaign resulted in the apprehension of 64 wanted persons for criminal cases, absence and arrest, 47 others for expired residency, and 4 people without identification, in addition to issuing 407 traffic violations.The ministry said in a press release today that security teams were deployed to several main roads in the two regions to ensure comprehensive security and traffic coverage and to increase the level of field presence. It added that the campaign resulted in the arrest of 64 individuals wanted in connection with criminal cases, absconding, and outstanding warrants; 47 individuals for expired residency permits; 4 individuals without identification; and the issuance of 407 various traffic violations.She stated that this campaign is an extension of the comprehensive security plans implemented by the Ministry with the aim of achieving the highest levels of security and safety for citizens and residents and enhancing compliance with laws and regulations, while continuing the security deployment and implementing field campaigns in various regions of the country, which contributes to maintaining security and stability and raising the level of public safety.
