The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed the State of Kuwait’s strong condemnation and denunciation of the heinous Iranian attacks with missiles and hostile drones that targeted a number of sites in the country at dawn on Wednesday, including a residential complex, in flagrant violation of its sovereignty and a threat to its security and stability.The Ministry affirmed in a statement that the continuation of these attacks constitutes a grave violation of international law and the UN Charter, a blatant breach of Security Council Resolution 2817, and a dangerous escalation that threatens the region's security and stability and undermines diplomatic efforts aimed at de-escalation and reduction. The Ministry reiterated the State of Kuwait's full right to take all necessary measures to safeguard its sovereignty, protect its security and interests, and ensure the safety of its citizens and residents, in accordance with international law.
