Emirates Integrated Telecommunications Company, known as du, reported net profit of AED 2.4 billion (about $653 million) for the first nine months of the year, up 10.8 percent from the same period a year earlier.

Revenue climbed 6.2 percent year on year to AED 12.3 billion, supported by sustained demand for connectivity and digital services and a stable macroeconomic environment. Service revenue grew 6.8 percent to AED 9 billion.

Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) rose 9.2 percent to AED 6 billion, while the EBITDA margin widened by 1.3 percentage points to 48.7 percent.

In the third quarter alone, net profit increased 7.3 percent to AED 786 million and total revenue rose 7.1 percent year on year. The quarterly EBITDA margin held steady at 47.7 percent.

The quarter also saw the renewal of du's public telecommunications licence for a further 20 years and a three-year extension of its royalty regime, measures the company said provide long-term regulatory clarity and ensure operational continuity.

The company was added to the MSCI UAE Standard Index and the FTSE All-World Index after meeting the relevant inclusion criteria, chief among them liquidity requirements.

Mobile subscribers grew 3.3 percent, while the fixed-line customer base expanded 5.2 percent.

Chief Executive Fahad Al Hassawi said the results for the first nine months of 2026 reflected the resilience of the company's operations and its continued focus on purposeful growth. He added that investments in data centres, cloud computing and advanced connectivity services were extending the business beyond traditional telecommunications.
