Expats in Kuwait can now report lost passports via Sahel app
«الداخلية» تطلق خدمة الإبلاغ عن فقدان جوازات سفر الوافدين عبر تطبيق «سهل»

Expatriates in Kuwait can now report a lost passport and obtain an official loss certificate entirely online, after the Ministry of Interior launched a new service on the government's unified Sahel application.
The service, called "Certificate of Loss of Passport," sits under the Security Services section of the app. It allows foreign residents to complete the process electronically, removing the need to visit government offices in person.
According to the ministry, expatriates can use the service to report a missing passport and receive an official certificate that can then be submitted to the relevant authorities.
The move is intended to simplify administrative procedures, cut down on paperwork and make government services more accessible to the country's expatriate residents.
The ministry announced the launch through Sahel's official account, describing it as part of its ongoing efforts to expand digital services and streamline procedures for residents.
The new service is part of Kuwait's wider drive to strengthen its digital government offering, with the aim of allowing residents to complete official transactions through a single electronic platform rather than across multiple offices.
