Kuwait Club wrapped up the Premier League handball title for the 2025/2026 season on Monday, beating Al-Arabi 38-28 in the 20th round to seal the championship with one round still to play.

The triumph extends Kuwait's run to 14 consecutive league titles and brings their all-time tally to 16. The champions now sit top of the standings on 25 points.

Burgan, meanwhile, secured second place and with it a berth in the Asian Club Championship, despite falling 32-30 to Kazma in the same round. Burgan are second on 19 points, six behind the leaders.

Further down the table, Kazma and Al-Arabi are level on 16 points apiece. Al-Sulaibikhat lie sixth with 8 points, while Al-Nasr prop up the standings with just two points.

The 21st and final round gets under way next Thursday with two fixtures at the Sheikh Saad Al-Abdullah Sports Hall: Kazma take on Al-Nasr, and Kuwait face Burgan.

The closing clash between Kuwait and Burgan will pit the league's top two sides against each other, although both the title and the runner-up spot have already been decided.
