948 مليون دينار استثمارات مباشرة جديدة في الكويت خلال السنة المالية 2025/2026

Kuwait attracted KD948.037 million in new direct investment during the 2025/2026 fiscal year through 17 investment entities, according to the Kuwait Direct Investment Promotion Authority (KDIPA). The figure lifts cumulative approved investment since 2015 to KD2.920 billion.
KDIPA Director General Sheikh Dr Meshaal Al-Jaber said the numbers reflected growing investor confidence and signalled that Kuwait remained open, competitive and ready for future investment. He added that success should be judged not only by capital inflows but also by technology transfer, knowledge development and jobs for Kuwaiti nationals.
The authority's annual report said cumulative investment flows had reached KD1.24 billion by December 2024, with 76 percent of total spending retained in the local economy, supporting domestic businesses and small and medium-sized enterprises. It also cited 832 training programs and 115 sustainability initiatives linked to 15 UN Sustainable Development Goals.
KDIPA is now implementing its second medium-term strategy for 2025-2030, which prioritizes investment in priority and emerging sectors, simpler procedures for investors, expanded digital services and better coordination among government agencies.
Internationally, Kuwait has taken the presidency of the World Association of Investment Promotion Agencies (WAIPA) for 2025-2027. The authority has also participated in the Davos and Bloomberg forums, Expo Osaka 2025 and the Gulf-European Business Forum, and has formed strategic partnerships with investment bodies in the UAE, Japan, Hong Kong and Turkey.
On the institutional side, KDIPA trained more than 225 employees, representing 82.11 percent of its workforce, and secured ISO 10002 and ISO 27001 certifications for service quality and information security.
