During a joint press conference at the White House with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, President Trump stated, "Direct talks with Iran are being conducted at the highest levels," while emphasizing Washington's desire to involve Israel in any potential agreement with Tehran "to avoid war and reach a deal" that would ease tensions in the region.

He added that securing an agreement with Iran "would be a great thing," signaling his administration's openness to a diplomatic resolution.

Since taking office on January 20, Trump has repeatedly called on Iran to engage in direct negotiations over its nuclear program, while warning of potential military action should Tehran refuse dialogue.
