A Kuwaiti aircraft carrying 10 tons of relief and shelter materials takes off to support our brothers in Sudan..

A humanitarian aid aircraft departed Abdullah Al-Mubarak Air Base this Monday morning bound for Port Sudan International Airport, carrying ten tons of relief and shelter materials to assist the most vulnerable populations in Sudan.

This flight continues the 'Kuwait By Your Side' campaign, organized by the Kuwait Red Crescent Society in coordination with Kuwait's Ministries of Foreign Affairs, Social Affairs, and Defense (represented by the Kuwait Air Force).

Prior to departure, Dr. Khaled Al-Mugames, Chairman of Kuwait Red Crescent Society, told Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) that the State of Kuwait - under royal directives - continues its humanitarian efforts to support Sudanese brethren during their current humanitarian crisis, reflecting Kuwait's steadfast commitment to humanitarian causes and Arab solidarity.

Al-Mugames stated these efforts align with Kuwait's vision to alleviate suffering and meet essential needs, embodying the nation's humanitarian commitment to crisis-affected populations. He noted coordination between Kuwaiti and Sudanese Red Crescent societies to identify priority needs for Sudanese families, particularly the most vulnerable groups.

This flight follows last Monday's aid shipment totaling 40 tons of relief supplies, including shelter materials, clothing, and transportation equipment, as part of a comprehensive relief campaign supporting the Sudanese people during this critical period."
