After more than 20 years of service, one of NVIDIA's most popular interfaces appears to be officially nearing its end. The company has announced the discontinuation of the NVIDIA Control Panel and is pushing users entirely towards the new NVIDIA App, which will become the primary interface for managing GeForce cards going forward.

NVIDIA began preparing for this move some time ago with the launch of the NVIDIA App, and now it has officially confirmed that the era of the Control Panel is over for Game Ready and Studio Drivers.
