The Public Authority for Workforce announced on Wednesday the commencement of procedures to reinstate national labor support payments for 3,098 cases of Kuwaiti men's wives whose citizenships were revoked under Article 8, provided they meet the eligibility criteria. In a press release, the Authority stated: *"In line with Cabinet Resolution No. 420 of 2025 concerning the continuation of national labor support for female workers in non-governmental entities whose citizenships have been revoked or nullified under Article 8, and in implementation of the directives of Acting Prime Minister Sheikh Fahad Yusuf Saud Al-Sabah to ensure fairness and safeguard the interests of affected private-sector workers, their April entitlements will be deposited tomorrow, Thursday. Retroactive payments will also be disbursed alongside their May salaries."*
